Pagosa Springs Rotary Club2016 Jewels & Jeans Barn Dance a Huge Success
The Jewels & Jeans Barn Dance was a huge success! Thanks, in part, to the many generous Gold, Silver and Bronze Sponsors that contributed as well as many other Donors that donated items for the silent auction such as trips, hotel accommodations, food, wine and jewelry! The silent auction alone raised over $1,000 for Pagosa Springs Rotary Club projects and programs here in Pagosa Springs!
All of the net proceeds from Pagosa Springs Rotary Club's fund raising efforts benefit the Pagosa Springs Community directly! Be it through the four-year college scholarships and the vocational scholarships awarded to graduating high school seniors, providing nutritious food to 3rd & 4th grade students and their siblings that are kid-friendly for the weekends, or supporting Pagosa Outreach Connection. The list goes on and on. Pagosa Springs Rotary also supports other national and international projects to do good in the world, such as fight to eradicate polio from the face of the earth. Those efforts are funded directly by Rotarians and community fund raising only gets spent in Pagosa Springs or for Pagosa Springs residents.
