Pagosa Springs Rotary Club
On the day of the meeting, the Kentucky Derby Gala was two days hence, and many announcements were made relating to activities and tasks contributing to the success of the event. As the Gala has now come and gone – bringing “jollifications” to many (as your scribe’s immortal literary hero, Horace Rumpole, a fellow-veteran of many legal battles, might say) -- those announcements will not be further discussed here.
More photos and reports about the Derby are to follow, but just to give a shout out to two hard working Rotarians that made the silent auction an event to remember! Lassie and Jo work at this practically full-time! Cultivating relationships with businesses that support our efforts, not only for the Derby but the Barn Dance as well.
