Last week, members of the Rotary Club of Pagosa Springs gathered at The Springs Resort to celebrate another successful Rotary year, recognize the accomplishments of the past year, and install the club's leadership team for 2026-2027.
The evening was filled with friendship, laughter, gratitude, and reflection as we celebrated the many ways Rotary members have served our community and beyond. From scholarships and youth programs to community projects and international service, everything we accomplish is possible because of the dedication of our members and supporters.
We extend our sincere thanks to outgoing President Jenelle Syverson for her service during the 2025-2026 Rotary year.
We also offer our heartfelt appreciation to outgoing board members Rob Foster, Pat Lewis, Ken Beesley, and Frank Estes for their dedication, leadership, and commitment to Service Above Self. Their contributions have helped strengthen our club and create lasting impact in our community.
A special thank you to Renee Vanover for preparing a delicious meal that made the evening even more memorable.
We are excited to welcome our incoming Co-Presidents, Jann Pitcher, Cindi Galabota, Allen Roth, and Terri House, who will lead the club in the year ahead under the theme Create Lasting Impact.
Also installed were members of the 2026-2027 Board of Directors: President-Elect Kim Moore, Jim Garrett, Sam Pittmon, Phil Bennett, Ronnie Doctor, Frank Wiley, Lisa Scott, Kirsten Bennett, Ed Feragen, Livia Lynch, and Sandy Douthey.
Together, this leadership team will continue Rotary's tradition of Service Above Self while strengthening our community, supporting local youth, and creating positive change both locally and around the world.
Thank you to The Springs Resort for hosting this special evening and to everyone who contributes their time, talents, and heart to Rotary.
Here's to a new Rotary year and the opportunity to create lasting impact together!
