Rotarians Team Up with The Salvation Army
to Bring Help & Hope to Archuleta County!
Rotarians are making a significant impact by supporting The Salvation Army's mission to serve those in need.
Last year, The Salvation Army provided vital assistance to over 1,500 residents of Archuleta County, offering support with rent, medical and prescription services, utility bills, food, showers, clothing, and transportation. Their efforts also extended to supporting local nonprofit organizations, including the Rotary Club of Pagosa Springs.
The bell-ringing season is a crucial fundraising period, generating most of the resources used to assist local families throughout the year. Just one bell-ringing shift can raise $50 — enough to provide groceries for a family or supply essential medical equipment for an elderly resident.
By volunteering as bell ringers, Rotarians help ensure these critical services remain available to the community.
