A group of third graders were delighted to receive a special gift in November—the gift of words.

Through the Rotary Dictionary Project, an initiative spanning the nation, young students at Pagosa Springs Elementary School received their own personal dictionaries courtesy of the Rotary Club of Pagosa Springs.

These dictionaries are more than just collections of words and definitions; they also feature maps, details about U.S. presidents, and mathematical conversion tables.

Members of the Rotary Club expressed immense satisfaction in witnessing the joy on the children's faces upon realizing the dictionaries were theirs to keep.
