  2. Contribute Through Your Donor-Advised Fund
    Simply search for Pagosa Springs Rotary Club Scholarship Foundation in your donor portal. If needed, use our Federal Tax ID: 84-1598092.

  3. Donate Appreciated Stocks, Securities, or Mutual Funds
    Take advantage of potential tax benefits, such as avoiding capital gains taxes and claiming the full fair market value as a charitable deduction (subject to IRS rules, if held for at least one year).   4. Make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from Your IRA
    If you’re 70½ or older, you can donate up to $100,000 annually from your IRA directly to a qualified charity, excluding the amount from your taxable income. For those 73 or older, your QCD can also satisfy your required minimum distribution (RMD). Remember, the distribution must be payable to Pagosa Springs Rotary Club Scholarship Foundation to qualify.

  5. Leave a Legacy for Future Generations
