The holiday season is just around the corner, and the Rotary Club of Pagosa Springs is preparing to continue a tradition of giving back!
Salvation Army bell ringing begins Sunday, November 22, with our club and the evening Rotary club kicking off the season at City Market.
Our club will cover nine days of bell ringing, with volunteers signing up for one-hour shifts. Most of our scheduled days fall on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Christmas Eve. Sign-up sheets will begin circulating at our November 5 club meeting, so be sure to reserve your favorite time.
We will also welcome Neil Umali of the Salvation Army as our guest speaker on November 19. Neil will share an update on the organization's important work and the many ways it supports individuals and families in our community.
For more than 20 years, our club has proudly participated in this holiday tradition. While the funds raised provide vital assistance to those in need, bell ringing is also a wonderful opportunity to spread holiday cheer. Bring a friend, family member, your favorite four-legged companion, or even a musical instrument. It's a chance to greet neighbors, share smiles, and wish everyone a happy holiday season.
One hour of your time can make a meaningful difference. Let's keep this wonderful Rotary tradition going and help make the holidays brighter for our community.
