The Rotary Club of Pagosa Springs got to hear from Abbie Monroe, Pagosa Family School, Mariah Mills and Mariah Mills from Wings Early Childhood Education Center, and Amanda Schweitzer from the High School. They told us how they utilized funding from our teacher mini grant program to enhanced their classrooms for the students.Carol Stuart led this effort again this year which entails gathering applications from the teachers and evaluating each one to determine how to best invest Rotary funds and interviewing the teachers.
Here are just some of the items that were purchased with approximately $4,000 in funding this year.
