Rotary Teacher Mini Grant applications now available

The September 2024 Pagosa Rotary Teacher Mini Grant applications are now available to teachers at Pagosa Elementary, Middle, High, and San Juan Mountain Schools as well as Valor Academy, Head Start, Our Savior Lutheran School,  Pagosa Open Peak School, Wings Early Childhood Center and Seed of Learning. If you are a teacher at any of those schools and have not received the application via email, please check with your principal or director. You can also download the application here. The applications are due October 4, 2024.

This successful Rotary Teacher Mini Grant program awards a limited number of mini grants up to $400 for special classroom projects to individual teachers in preschool through twelfth grade in Archuleta County.  This program has existed for over a dozen years and is funded through Rotary activities. The mini grant provides working capital to innovative teachers who want to enrich the students’ classroom experience by enhancing the goals and standards of that subject. An evaluation of the funding, use and success will be completed in January.

CiCi Stuart’s committee has sent teacher mini-grant applications to nine schools. We award $400 to teachers submitting winning applications to help them conduct special projects without digging into their own wallets.
